I know the air is bad on large aircraft but it seems you should know yourself and be prepared for the journey, with Med’s and the like PRN. All food has gone down hill since the 70′s so I always bring that along for the ride also.

I used to have post nasal drip and horrible allergies my entire life. I started taking probiotics over the past 6 months and now my allergies have diminished dramatically. They are not gone 100%, but it did make a difference. Turns out that your intestines must be balanced just right in order to fight off sickness and what not. I had no idea that it would have made that much of a difference, but it did. I do not like veggies, so I do not eat properly.

Hey Maggie, yes, I always carry a epi pen(several) plus Benadryle and an enhaler. I try and carry every thing I can that will make my son’s flight easy but most of all safe. Thanks for the comment. N

Wow, what a story! Our son suffers from peanut allergies, as well… I’m curious why you wouldn’t carry an Epipen with you, especially on flights???

great informative letter, anyone should be able to identify with this story and it is obvious that clear expectations should be conveyed, airlines still have horrible customer service at times, and clear protective rules and laws should be present.
