Help Get Chemical-Free Milk into our Schools

Lunchtime at school means milk. 15% of all dairies in the US still inject their cows with the synthetic growth hormone called recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH). As I highlight in my book, rBGH is hazardous as it causes udder infections and numerous other ailments that requite a cocktail of antibiotics to keep the cows healthy enough to be producing milk. As consumers of milk, we are essentially ingesting the growth hormones and antibiotics too.

School districts around the country have successfully built artificial hormone-free milk into their nutrition programs, but not all districts know it is a choice. Learn about cost-free ways that you can bring this healthy choice to your lunchroom, at work or at school. Find out more.
