Healthy Kitchens, Healthy Lives
I’m a medical doctor in the Chicago area. I discovered your book, The Unhealthy Truth, and your experiences through the TED lecture you gave in Texas. You are an inspiration to all of us who know that something is wrong with our food supply, but don’t know exactly how to address the issue. I am a practitioner in a well-being preventative medicine group, where we emphasize food as medicine, and medicine as food. Healthy kitchens, Healthy lives. We already knew that many of us consume less than ideal meals for a number of reasons. But highlighting the governmental, corporate, and educational complicity in the production and promotion of very unhealthy and dangerous food products has energized our efforts to educate our patients. I want to thank you for your commitment and efforts. It is often difficult to convince someone to change unhealthy habits. The material presented in your work makes this task much more achievable. Let me know if we can assist in any way.
