“I’m telling everyone about your work…Look at my son!”

I have already been through the difficulties and successes of helping to heal my son and myself through strict dietary control. We have been through it all! The withdrawal symptoms (the scariest thing I have ever seen in my life was watching my son withdraw from rice, it was more scary than his severe allergic reaction to eggs as a baby because he could actually talk and tell me how horrible he felt!) the fear, the feeling of reaching out of the box into the unknown and feeling alone because no one else that you know is doing this, having to search deeply inside and hold onto faith and because you know you are doing the right thing even if no one else supports you. I also so relate to your experiences with the conservative Texan family! My family isn’t talking to me anymore and they think I’m starving my son because I won’t let him eat junk and gluten.

When I have tried to tell people about the things that I know about food and additives and preservatives and all of the things you talk about, no one seems to want to listen to me. And I say, “Look at my son,” but they only see how amazingly he doing now and not the screaming, sensitive, allergic to everything, hyper, unfocused, sleep deprived and unhappy child he used to be, and they don’t believe me. I’m telling everyone about your work. Thank you for your bravery in doing what you have done to create this amazing resource. I find it to be heartfelt, genuine, real, and highly accessible to the mainstream of people.

You are truly an inspiration to all of us who believe so passionately in how what we put into our bodies affects our health and well being. You give all of us a voice and provide such important information to everyone else who is as of yet unaware. I also absolutely love Dr. Bock’s book, too, and I love how they so beautifully go hand in hand! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Best wishes to you and a huge hug!
