    Your Go-to food that you can’t live without: Anything that’s fresh from our organic garden. It tastes so much better when you grow things yourself!

    What characteristic do you most admire in a person? I really admire intelligence, humor, and kindness.

    What do you most deplore? I most deplore people who are unkind and people who do not care about their planet.

    What is your best trait? I think that my best traits include my kindness and my stubbornness. Without my stubbornness, I would have never founded Fast Food Free.

    Which person living or dead would you most like to have a meal with? I would love to have a meal with my deceased grandfather. He died when I was six weeks old, and talking to him would be phenomenal.

    What would you serve? I would find out my Grandfather’s favorite meal and serve it (unless it was fast food)!

    What trait do you most deplore in our food? I deplore how food is becoming more and more processed and industrialized. What I deplore even more, though, is that many people don’t seem to care.

    If you could deliver five words to Congress, what would they be? My message to Congress would be ‘Look at our food system!’ (I would use please, but only five words are allowed… 🙂 )

    If the USDA asked you to replace the word “Organic,” what word would you use? I think I would use the word ‘Healthy’ Organic food is healthy for both you and the planet!

    If you were a piece of food, what would you be? I would be something that is very fresh and nutritious I feel I’m good for people!

    What is your current state of mind? Right now I feel both happy and hopeful. More and more people are seeing the dangers of fast food and processed food.

    What is your motto? My motto is ‘Everyone can make a difference.’
